In 2004, Team Sculley finished in first place as the 2004 ESPN Billfishing Extreme Release League Champions. The team fished six locations around the Caribbean on the Sculley Custom 60 named “Waterproof.” Team Sculley and “Waterproof” proved their ability to raise fish by (RESULTS).
In 2005, Team Sculley's tournament plans include the Cape Fear Blue Marlin, July 7-10; the UB Invitational Marlin Tournament, July 21-24; the Ocean City Marlin, Aug. 7-12; the Mid-Atlantic $500,000, Aug. 21-26. Additionally, we understand that “Wahoo,” a Sculley 58 Sportfishing yacht sold in 2003 will compete in the UB Billfish Tournament, Aug. 24-27.
Team Sculley looks forward to raising the big one in the months ahead at these tournaments. Owner, James Sculley, CEO and Founder of Sculley Boatbuilders from Virginia Beach, VA; has won and placed in numerous tournaments over the years.
Captain, Mario Fortier, Pompano Beach, FL; has numerous tournaments under his belt including several first place finishes.
Angler, Jimmy Sculley, Marketing Director of Sculley Boatbuilders, son of James Sculley. Has fished numerous tournaments on the eastern seaboard and the Bahamas.
Angler, Timothy M. Graboski, Pompano Beach, FL, Owner of the "Waterproof", is relatively new to the sport, his boat came in 3rd overall in his first Tournament.
Angler/Mate, Casey Hunt, Pompano Beach, FL, Numerous 1st place finishes in Tournaments. Saltwater National Champion 1995 (SAA). Angler of the Year Award.
Angler/Mate, Chris Peters, Oak Bluffs, MA, several 1st place Tournament winnings, IGFA All-Tackle World Record Holder, Short Fin Mako 1221 lbs.
Angler/Mate, Tom Moody, Hatteras, NC, competed in numerous tournaments on the East Coast and in the Caribbean.
Mate, Nico Carvajal, San Juan, PR, joined the team in Punta Cana and has been fishing the Caribbean waters with family since he was 4 years old.
Mate, Brett Jamison, Virginia Beach, VA, charter fishes out of Rudee Inlet, Virginia Beach, is an expert billfisherman.
