'MICK'S FIN' - June 2001

Sculley 58 Sportfisherman

The original Sculley Sportfisherman, this 58-foot yacht logged close to 1,000 hours at sea through extensive durability testing. Now, a prominent Virginia yacht broker owns this sportfishing yacht, which broke the mold of Carolina-built boats, naming it “Mick's Fin.”

Mick's Fin includes a complete electronics and communications package complete with a plasma television screen in the salon, a full fly tower, a fish winch, plenty of space for storing gear, and a tackle room with enough room for 40 rod and reel combinations and gear – all with a comfortable, single berth.

Mick's Fin also has all of the standard items built in to all Sculley Sportfisherman yachts, including all-stainless steel fish boxes with a sump pump making cleanup simple, coolers, a freezer and a bait well, and a Release Marine fighting chair. The luxury of Mick's Fin is complete with black Corian countertops, high-gloss cherry cabinetry, and a tan, leather L-shaped couch in the salon.
